As a Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to the customer, ensuring that every guest has a wonderful experience. To be successful as an Supervisor you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.
You will also assume a variety of responsibilities and duties such as assisting with recruiting and hiring staff, training, overseeing food quality, creating and executing operational strategies, enforcing menu standards, as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests, and supporting service. Below is a more exhaustive list of your expected duties.
JOB DUTIES: - Manage and oversee the entire venue operation
- Deliver exceptional guest services
- Ensuring guest satisfaction
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Manage, lead, & develop staff
- Training and evaluating staff performance
- Manage labor, food cost, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory
- Manage restaurant supplies
- Control costs and minimize waste
- Create and nurture a positive working environment
- Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity, sales, and food quality.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Must have weekend availability (THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION, WITH POTENTIAL GROWTH TO FULL TIME)
- 3- 5+ years of experience as a Bar/Restaurant Supervisor, Manager or similar role
- 3- 5+ years of experience in customer service management
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Very Detailed Oriented
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- Experience in event coordinating
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Good financial management skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Adapt to Change
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Culinary school diploma, BS degree in Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
