The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the HR team across all functional areas, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HRIS administration, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain broad HR experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and ensure a seamless recruiting experience.
  • Prepare and manage new hire onboarding logistics including offer letters, background checks, orientation, and first-day setup.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now or similar). Assist in processing employee status changes such as promotions, terminations, and transfers, ensuring accurate documentation and timely system updates.
  • Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and team-building events.
  • Track and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and company policies.
  • Training & Development Support: Coordinate logistics for training sessions, track attendance, and help maintain learning and development records.
  • Prepare HR reports, maintain and audit personnel files; support annual compliance processes and reporting (e.g., EEO, ACA, I-9).
  • Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees via shared inbox or internal ticketing system and escalate as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR support role; internship experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) is a plus.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, and team player with a positive attitude.

Compensation $65,000-70,000
