Job Description

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5 Years of Experience Command of Bash ( Bourne Again Shell ) and familiarity with other shells including SH, ZSH, and KSH . Using core Unix/Linux command-line tools such as GREP, AWK, SED, CUT, FIND, XARGS , and sort for efficient text processing and system management.
• Automating routine administrative tasks including file backups, software installations and updates, user and group management, CRON jobs and scheduled tasks , log rotation, and disk usage monitoring. Implementing automation and CI/CD processes by integrating source control systems with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to streamline testing, building, and deployment workflows.
• 5 years of experience in Core Programming Proficiency: Programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#).
• Understanding data structures and algorithms.
• Code quality: readable, modular, maintainable code.
• 2 years of experience in API Proxy Development & Configuration : Creating and deploying API proxies using Apigee Edge or Apigee X. Experience with proxy endpoints, target endpoints, and route rules.
• Familiarity with API design best practices (RESTful principles, versioning, etc.).
• Security (OAuth2, API key validation, JWT verification).
• Traffic Management (Spike arrest, Quota, Rate limiting).
• Transformation (JSON/XML conversion, Assign Message, Extract Variables).
• Mediation and Orchestration (Service callouts, JavaScript, or Python logic).
